Hi, I was wondering does it have anything to do with upgrading Vista? Do you mean after upgrading vista the laptop won't boot? What kind of upgrade? Can you see the disk after plugging it into the desktop? From disk management. If it is not appearing, and it is an IDE disk, you may need to set the jumpters. Here is how to. Please try to do a search using keywords that you are sure contained on the hard disk.
