My Computer: OS: Vista 32 Sharing Permission: Everyone (co-owner) I've shared a folder which contains video files, mostly.rm files.Other computers on the same network are able to seesome of the sub folderswithin thatshared folder but most of the filesdo not show up. For example only 2 files are shown when there are 10 files in that same folder. File names are consist of numbers and english alphabets, such as"100-20081010.rm" or "[SUBPIG][Hotaru no Hikari ep01]" Can anyone help?

Hi, It sounds like a file hidden setting issue, I suggest you take the following steps on other computers on your network. 1.Open Folder Options by clicking the Start button , clicking Control Panel, clicking Appearance and Personalization, and then clicking Folder Options. 2.Click the View tab. 3.Under Advanced settings, click Show hidden files and folders, and then click OK. Then, please check the issue again. Thanks.

Thanks for your reply! ok I tried that but didn't work.... Another question is why would a real media file(.rm) be recongnized as a "hidden file"? or a folder that I created to restore those files became a "hidden folder"? Thanks.

Hi, Thank you for your clarify. I suspected this issue a hidden file problem. Now, you have confirmed the problem is not hidden file problem. Given the current situation, I suggest you create a new share folder and copy the rm files into the new folder to test the problem. If the issue still persists, please navigate to the new folder in CMD and run attrib in the folder. Then, post the result on the forum. Thank you for your cooperation.
