Vista Firewall and Onecare Firewall Conflict
I recently upgraded to Vista from XP pro. I also have Onecare. If Onecare Firewall is turned on I cannot access the internet at all. It doesn't matter if Vista Firewall is on or not. However I can turn Vista Firewall on and Onecare Firewall off and the internet connection works fine. When I try to have both on nothing works. Diagnosing the connection results in a message that states that there is a conflict with policies. Has anyone had this problem and resolved it?

1. Only 1 Firewall can run at a time ( you need to remove the xp version of One Care and Install the Vista version) When you install off web site The website will provide you with proper version or ocnecare. also see http://forums.microsoft.com/TechNet/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=1215802&SiteID=17

Hello, Firstly, Thank you for choosing Windows Live OneCare, it's the right selection, especially when you're going to run Antivirus, Firewallsystem with Windows Vista. It's better for you to turn off Windows Vista firewall in presence of WLOC, because the last one is better for you at any case! You can also visit the MSDN/OneCare forums for more information. Good luck
