Vista Business not reconnecting to network drives
I have three computers in an office running Vista Business. They are part of a workgroup (there is no AD installed on the server) and when the computers boot into windows, they do not automatically reconnect to the network drives. I've noticed that it takes about 30 seconds after desktop loads to be able to access the server. They are not on the same switch, so it's not an equipment problem. I've created a workaround by having a batch file wait 30 seconds and then reconnect the drives, but I'd like to fix it correctly. Aside from creating a domain, is there another solution?

Hi, Thanks for posting in Microsoft TechNet forums. Please disable your security software/firewall to test. Or you can prepare clean boot in case certain startup item postpone the boot up process.
