Vista Bluescreen Bccode 12
Problem Reports and Solutions applet in control panels states Microsoft is researching this problem. I thought I would contribute what I have experienced when dealing with this issue. My computer will randomly bluescreen/reboot if I have a game of solitaire open and I am browsing the internet simultaneously. It does not matter if I use Firefox or Internet Explorer; it will bluescreen with either one. I am connecting to the internet via dial-up modem. The color scheme does not matter. The problem has occurred while using Vista Basic as well as Vista Aero Glass.I can play solitaire without a bluescreen as long as I am not connected to the internet. I am able to browse the internet as long as I do not play solitaire. I have swapped out my pci modem with one of a different brand, but the problem still occurs. I cannot be sure it is related, but I will add another problem I am experiencing is with the modem audio service. Xaudio.exe crashes while dialing the internet. The modem still establishes a connection with the internet, so I do not pay much attention to this error. My guess it is related to that stupid generic "Unimodem Half-Duplex Audio Device" that has been installed with each modem I have tried. I will also add that my sound card is a pci Creative Sound Blaster Audigy SE model number SB0570.Good luck Microsoft.Problem Event Name: BlueScreenOS Version: 6.0.6001.2.1.0.256.6BCCode: 12BCP1: 00000002BCP2: 8001003BBCP3: 00000000BCP4: 00000000OS Version: 6_0_6001Service Pack: 1_0Product: 256_1Server information: 0789d3fd-f14e-4606-a52f-250743ceaefd

I installed Vista SP2 v.113 but it did not fix the problem. I believe the crash was being caused by the Creative sound card driver. I have swapped the Creative driver with another one from the Windows Update site.So far so good.
