Vista / SBS 2003 Offline files problem
I recently joined a new Dell laptop to our SBS 2003 domain. I want to use offline files. I enabled offline files and selected the files, right-clicked on them and selected "Always available offline" They synchronized normally. However, when I go offline, the files are there, they have the small "available offline" icon beside them but they are greyed out and are not really there. However, In the file details,it says "not available." I cannot open them or edit the files. Just to double check, I tried the same thing on a Vista desktop and I get the same problem. Thanks in advance for your help.

I noticed a similar problem. Files that I have added to my network share (the one that I have made available offline) using my Vista machine, are not really on the server share. My workstation shows that they are synchonized ok, but they do not exist on the SBS server at all.
