Vista - Connect to N router using G adapter
Hello all, I got a Netgear N300 Router yesterday (for the speed of it) and set it all up. I got my PS3, my smartphone (HTC Touch Cruise 2009) and my iPod touch 4th gen. But, I couldnt connect my two laptops to it. Eventually, I got my Windows 7 Laptop (HP DV9702ea) connected by randomly doing some stuff to it. but, my vista laptop (HP DV9710ea) cant connect by using the internal Atheros 5007eg adapter (The windows 7 laptop has the same card in it). Ive tried for about 5 hours to get it working, but i cant connect it ( I use a Belkin N1 Expresscard to connect the vista laptop). Its running 300MBPS N standard with WPA2-PSK security. The password is correct. Does anyone know what to do? Regards Aman **Also, The network comes out as "unidentified Network"**

Hi, Thanks for posting! In the wireless properties choose "compatibility mode for G", this will allow both types of wireless cards G and N.
