I set up a dual boot with Vista and Win 7 and since I did I cannot connect to the internet on Vista. I had no problems at all before, now it says unidentified network -local only.

Bypass the router or switch and connect to DSL modem directly to check the result. 3. Upgrade the NIC driver for Windows 7. 4. Manually assign a static IP address. If the issue persists, please collect the following information for research. 1. Click the Start Button and type "cmd" (without quotation marks) in the open box. 2. Right click CMD and click "Run as Administrator" option, and then click Yes. 3. In the open command window, input the following command and press Enter Key after it.
