Virus problem
I have been infected with "XP Internet Security Firewall". I have followed all known instruction like downloaded malwarebytes to date. After doing a full scan, it detects nothing, zip, nada. I think this one is a little more insidious as it masquerades as "msascui.exe" which is the executable for Windows Defender. Whenever, I open explorer it triggers the virus screen. I am able to get to taskmanager and end the process and continue on but I would like to eliminate it completely. It apparently eliminated Windows Defender completely as I couldn't find it on my laptop. When I downloaded Defender again onto my laptop and ran it, and then opened explorer, I had two instances of "msascui.exe" running. Any suggestion as to what I should do would be appreciated1 person needs an answerI do too

Read this, then download Rkill from here http://www.technibble.com/rkill-repair-tool-of-the-week/ Before running it, disable any anti programs that are running as they may see it as a threat. The program doesn’t delete anything, it just stops processes from running, corrects the registry and restarts Windows Explorer. It will take less than a minute to run and produces a log file showing which processes have been stopped, good guys and bad guys. If you know the location of the spoof program, go there and delete it.
