Virus issues
I have a problem that whenever I boot up I get the message that I have threat on my computer using Microsoft Security Essentials. The threat is called "Worm:win32/sirefef.gen!a" I always remove it but it keeps coming back as long as I'm logged on. My search engines are also sending anywhere, but what I'm looking for "Uplifting????"Any help would be greatly appreciated. ThanksKeep Smilin' ..... Fred1 person needs an answerI do too

However, sometimes, depending on my perception of the severity of the malware, I recommend they get professional assistance. In your case, this sounds like a rootkit. Additionally, if you share a network with others there is a good chance those computers are infected as well since you have seen a message about a worm malware. Unlike most forms of malware, worms are capable of self replicating through a network or shared media. These types of malware are a true virus. The term virus is often, but erroneously, used to describe other forms of malware.
