Virus WIN HDD/HDD FRAGMENTER
trying to remove virus WIN HDD and HDD Defragmenter. Have tried MalwareByte and Microsoft malicious software removal tool without success Any other ideas/solutions?

Win HDD and HDD Defragmenter as from the same family. They are both rogue defragmenters. For manual removal you should find and remove infected file.Files are located:%TempDir%\[random].dll%TempDir%\[random].exe%TempDir%\dfrg%TempDir%\dfrgr%StartMenu%\Programs\Win HDD%StartMenu%\Programs\Win HDD\Win HDD.lnk%StartMenu%\Programs\Win HDD\Uninstall Win HDD.lnkOr you can Follow these removal instructions:1.Turn off system restore.2.Reboot in Safe Mode with networking.3.Download, update and run Free scanner antispyware tool.eliminate Win HDD4.Delete all items reported by the scanner.5.Reboot into normal mode and re-enable system restore.And then you will be good to go!Good luck

Try to restart your PC in safemode with networking, to do that restart your PC and press F8 key repeatedly and then chose Safemode with networking and after that try to login tohttp://onecare.live.com/site/en-us/default.htmAnd run full system scan.If you couldn't remove it with that way, then contact support:https://consumersecuritysupport.microsoft.com/default.aspx?productkey=pcsafetymalware&faq=1&task=diagnostics&st=1&wfxredirect=1

WIN HD Defragmenter is a fake windows and hard disk drive defragmenter software. It is actually a virus that appears to be a legitimate program just to trick users into paying for its full version.
