My antivirus software has been picking up a virus in the ATAPI.sys file, however I cannot delete the file since it is a system file. I have researched this issue and most of the answers say to replace the file with the one on the boot cd that came with the computer. However, my computer didn't come with one. "Recovery" is on the D: drive, and I can't access it. Anyone know where I can find a replacement, virus free ATAPI.sys file? I can't seem to find one. Any help would be greatly appreciated. :)1 person needs an answerI do too
