Virtual memory
Virtual memory upgrades. I regularly get a pop up window that tells me that windows is increasing my virtual memory because it is too low but nothing ever happens.1 person needs an answerI do too

What size is your Win drive, how nuch free space is there, how much ram is installed?Is there any specific set of circumstances involved?

The 3 problems with Low Virtual Memory is1)Not enough free space.2)Not enough pagefile.3)Not enough Ram.It is recommended to have at least 10-15% free space and 1gig of ram for XP to run smoothly. You can right click on the taskbar and click task manager, go over to the Performance tab and you can see how much PF is used and free. PF usage. If it is more than half way then it would be slower than normal. Also does it say it all the time? OR only when your on for awhile? It is best to reboot once a day or so many hours if your doing a lot to refresh cache and pagefile and other temp files."There are only 10 types of people in the world.
