Video of Offline Files bug in Windows 7
Below is a video of the Offline Files bug that I'm still experiencing. I decided to record so everyone can clearly see what's happening when I try to use Offline Files: http://www.utipu.com/app/invited/id/fbe777dd A few notes on what I've done previously: I've successfully duplicated this bug in both 32 bit and 64 bit editions of Windows 7. I've tested on 3 different computers, having upgraded from Windows Vista Business on one system, clean installation of Win7 and an OS repair on the others. All to no avail (9 installs total over past few months since Win7 RC).I double-checked the local drive Caching options on the SERVER computers, making sure that the folders and files could be available offline. All set correctly. I've disabled and re-enabled Offline Files I reset Offline Files in the Windows registry (numerous times) I've disabled Offline Files, deleted the entire CSC folder, re-enabled Offline Files and recreated the Offline Files cache I also played around with the Offline Files settings in Group Policy editor. Is there anyone who can forward or show this video to an actual software engineer @ Microsoft? This is clearly a bug and I have been dealing with since Windows 7 RC. Offline Files is a very important feature that I need to use and frustrated that it hasn't been addressed by now. thank you.
