Video P2P Lync 2013 On-Premise and Lync Online

Hi,

I have a problem with the video or audio call between a Lync Online and a Lync On-Premise 2013 user, but only when I make a call directly from the IM message window (I don't know if this is a P2P communication), because when I make a conference between 3 users (with at least one from Lync Online or On-Premise) the video or audio call works fine between the 2 users that have the problem.

The thing is, in a network without any restricition, the video or audio call works fine, but in a more restrictive network (only IP restricted, not port restrcited, at least that's what they tell me), in which the Lync users have complete access to the Lync Front End, the audio or video call between 2 users (1 Online and 1 On-Premise) doesn't work.

I don't know that beacuse this is a user to user this they trying to use P2P, and that might be the problem in the restrictive network, and this means I need to open some IPs on that network.

To be clear this problem only happens in that restrictive network, beacuse in the network without restrictions, everything works fine.

I hope you can understand what I tell you, and also hope you can help me with this problem.

Thanks in advance.

Peer to peer media will go directly between the clients. But any time you have more than two users, peer to peer is no longer utilized and users always connect directly to the MCU on the Front End Servers. As in the restrictive network, I guess the traffic between peers is blocked.
