Hi. Go to www.hp.com and choose support and drivers. Find your computer and update the firmware and possible drivers. Also run windows update. Sometimes there are also specific problems that have suggested hotfix on HP.com for your computer. OHM

Hi again. To upgrade your router you will have to find out what type of router you have. Lets sayit is dlink. Then you have to go to www.dlink.com and find your router on their page and download their firmware. Then you have to go into your router through the web managment page (See router instructions manual) and upgrade it. When I see this trace it looks like to me that your dsl-line is bad. I would contacted my ISP and asked them. I don't think Vista and old router have any thing to do with this. Have you ever booted your router / and DSL-modem?? Sometimes they hang. OHM
