VSS shadow copy not working, cannot use system restore or backup
I have a problem with my windows 7 , the problem is that I cant make an restore point or create a backup files. It usually pop's out an error message saying that there is an error detected
in volume shadow copy servise (VSS). any help?
Here is the link to the errors--> http://img402.imageshack.us/g/capturemz.png/
Also I cant even make system repair disks, it starts copying files on a cd but when it's about time to finish, it just pops an error failed to create system repair disk.
And Im not sure is that connected to the VSS problem or not.

Hi,
Thanks for the post!
Click Start, input services.msc in the search box, press ENTER. In the right pane, set Volumn Shadow Copy Service status type Manual. After this, backup again in
Clean Boot in case of some application confilcts.
If it doesn't work, please reset the repository.
Boot into safe mode, click Start, input cmd in the search box, run it as administrator. On the command window, input the following command one by one.
Net Stop Winmgmt
CD /D %Windir%\system32\wbem
Ren Repository Repository.old
Net Start Winmgmt
Now restart the computer and try backup again.
Regards,
Miya
