VPN error 619
This user has a Windows 7 laptop that she uses to establish a VPN connection to a SBS 2003 server. I can establish the VPN with no problems if using my wireless network, but when using her Telstra wireless modem she receives the error..... Disconnected. Error 619: A connection to the remote computer could not be established, so the port used for this connection was closed. I get the same error when connecting to other sites that I manage so I am certain that the issue is with the client's laptop & only when using that modem. I have tried disabling the firewall & have it configured to use PPTP only. It still fails when set to automatic. Does anyone have any suggestions?Regards, Scott

This problem was solved by downloading a file from the manufacturer of the wireless modem. http://www.sierrawireless.com/Support/knowledgebase.aspx I hope this saves someone else many hours of testing & searching.Regards, Scott
