VPN error 442 virtual adapter not installed
My first post here. I installed VPN 5.0.06. When I try to connect I get an error 442 (virtual adapter not installed). When I looked at Network Connections it shows VPN as connected, but when I tried to repair the connection I got this Windows error: "TCP/IP not enabled for this connection."After a little research I followed the windows xp instructions for How to Enable TCP/IP Forwarding in Windows XPI changed the value in the registry from 0 to 1, per instructions. Rebooted. Tried again--still error 442. I have also reinstalled this version of VPN. When I look at this VPN connection>>Properties, it shows TCP/IP enabled. And I used VPN in 2008 on this very PC, with no problems. Any ideas? Thanks,Frustrated in Colorado1 person got this answerI do too
