VPN dropping seconds after it connects
Ok so, I have a user with a Dell Latitude e6400, running windows 7 pro 32 bit, and she is having major issues at home. She is able to connect to her home wireless successfully with no interupts, but when she connects to our work VPN, it will drop soon after it connects. We have a VPN role set up on a Windows 2003 server. She uses a Dynex router at home where her husband can successfully use the wireless AND successfully connect to his work VPN and stay connected. Everything used to work fine prior to 6 weeks ago. She said there have been no changes to the router or her computer. I even installed a Dell wireless NIC and it still didn't work. So now I am stumped. Any ideas for me that I can try? I do have a report that was generated. I can post if that will help. Thanks

Did you find the drivers from the following website? Drivers & Downloads for Latitude E6400 Important Note: Microsoft provides third-party contact information to help you find technical support. This contact information may change without notice. Microsoft does not guarantee the accuracy of this third-party contact information. If the issue occurs after you install the latest Windows 7 compatible driver, I suggest you temporary disable the firewall and anti-virus, then check the result again. If the issue still occurs, please let us know: 1. If her husband can log in to his VPN server on her computer. 2. If she can log in to her VPN server on his husband’s computer. 3. If she can log in to her VPN server in other places. If the only occurs when connecting to her VPN in the house on both computers, I suspect that this issue is caused by the firewall on the ISP side or the router. Arthur Xie - MSFT
