VPN connects but no network is shown
so i have a windows 7 desktop (VPN server) and a windows 7 laptop (VPN client) and i have set up the incoming VPN connection on my desktop and a client VPN connection on my laptop. when i go and make a VPN connection it says that i am connected on both my laptop and my desktop but i cannot access any of my network resources. ive been cracking away at this for a few weeks now and have gotten nowhere with it, any help would be greatly appreciated. thank you!

Hi, Do you mean that you could not access Internet or intranet after the VPN connection is established? If so, you could take the following steps to check the result: 1. Click the Network icon on the system tray. 2. Right click VPN Connection and click Properties. 3. Switch to Networking tab. 4. Highlight Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and click Properties. 5. Click Advanced tab and uncheck Use default gateway on remote network. 6. Click OK to check the issue.
