VPN connections not listed
Hi, I'm setting up a secure enclave for a sensitive project within our corporate network. I'm implementing a simple domain with a RRAS server (currently in a vm test lab). I create the VPN connection on my vista laptop, but this is not displayed in the Network Connections window. I can still use the connection via running rasdial from the command line, but this doesn't let me edit the advanced properties for the connection. It's also not what I want to end up with when setting up the non-techie users once the system is in use. I thought it might be related to NLA, as very occasionally refreshing the window causes the VPN connection to display, but I've not been able to reliably repeat this. I've tried using Cisco VPN client just so it won't disappear, but it seems to have issues with RRAS. Any thoughts?
