VPN Disconnects after 10 mins from the locking of computer (windows 7)

I am using Windows 7.
Installed VPN newly and it is working fine as the function perpective.
But the problem is, It is getting disconnected after 10 min of locking my computer.
If I unlock the computer after 10 mins, I need to connect the VPN again.
Is there any solution to fix this problem..?
I am waiting for the reply.......

check the power configuration settings in control panel. I feel after 10 minutes either your NIC card goes to sleep mode or there is a session time out .Regards, h9ck3r.
