VPN Connection Dropping
Hi, I am having issues with VPN connectivity on a co-workers laptop which has Vista Business 64-bit Edition on it. I do not have the make and model of his laptop at this moment, but I do have RRAS trace logs. No matter where his location (at home or traveling), the VPN connection either cannot be established, drops, or drops and locks his computer up. We have a Windows SBS 2003 Server which handles the VPN connections. Our other VPN users in the domain have Windows XP and do not experience any problems. I am sure you need more information than this, however, I am hoping that an analysis of the trace logs could be the first step in resolving this issue. By the way, I have tried disabling TCP/IP v6, changing authentication methods, among many many other attempts at fixing it, and all updates have been applied to the OS (including SP2).
