VPN Connection.
I am trying to set up a VPN connection for a staff memeber on a lapop. If I am logged in as administrator the no probs. If I am logged in as the user i have 2 problems. Firstly i get the error message "connection failed with error 621" when I try to connect. Secondly When I click on create connection , the connection does not appear anywhere. In NSC under change adaptor settings there is only Local and Wireless. The VPN connection does not appear. Please Help Urgent. Thanks.

Hi, Does this issue can be reproduced in the other computers under the same domain? If so, you may check the domain policy settings. I suspect some security settings may block the standard users permission about using or creating VPN.Kim Zhou TechNet Community Support

Hi, No I cannot reproduce it on an identical laptop. The other one works fine. The user on the laptop is part of the administrators group on the local machine, and our GPO has no restrictions so I don't think that is the problem. I am sure it is something on the local machine. Thanks
