Hi,
verify that the download port
is open in your firewall, (or you can
disable your firewall temporarily but it is not
recommended), and if you can use another site

I have a Toshiba Satellite laptop which I purchased one month ago. I have Windows 7 on it and have been trying to download VLC Media player for ages...this morning I called Toshiba and told them that I get this continuous error message "NSIS error-application
not launching"...they called be to go the NSIS page and try the suggestions listed which I did...I thoroughly scanned my laptop and there are no viruses at all. I tried redownloading VLC media player but to no avail. Can anyone help? Can you pls email me in
