VISTA is not reading the TPM recovery key from the USB key fob if its emulated as a Hard Disk
Hi, I am working in TPM BIOS development for intel server platforms. I have a lexar 1GB jump drive emulated as hard drive. I have stored the TPM recovery key in the jump drive. Vista is not able to read the recovery key from the USB jump drive. If I emulate as a Floppy drive then its working. I am using VISTA build 6000. Is windows expects the TPM recovery keyUSBfob as a floppy drive? or is it a BIOS issue? Can you please help me to resolve this issue. Thanks John

From what i understand your BIOS has to support booting from a USB device for this to work.
