How can I remove a virus from my computer when the virus is blocking my use of the internet. this is our main home computer with the wi-fi router, etc. I am able to access the internet from my husband's computer in the other room. I get a ton of popups that I just close out of but everytime I go to open a program, system restore, explorer, I get a warning prompt that tells me the program/file is infected. Well most virus removal programs need to be done via the internet---any ideas. I was working with microsoft but it became an 'escalated' problem and now I need to wait for a call back anywhere from 3-5 days between 5-7.1 person needs an answerI do too
