VIRUS
Hello; I'm testing Windows 7. I just want to thank the security team!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They saved me an EXPENSIVE headache. This morning I was downloading a program I thought would help me with all my passwords ( my wife would say there I go thinking again). The name of the program is "One Pass" from "Free download a day". While I was downloading this program a dialog box popped up saying there is a problem with this program. I DID NOT open this program, I scanned it with AVG free. Holy S#*& there is a virus here. It is called " TROJAN HORSE GENERIC 12.AUQL". I deleted this program scanned my computer (it is still clean) went back to the site and commented on this program and there are others who had installed this program and their computer is compromised and wants to install all kinds of stuff. I feel VERY FORTUNATE that between Windows 7 & AVG my computer wasn't compromised. Way to go guys & gals. KUDOS ALL AROUND you should give yourselves a BIG pat on the back I am thankful to you. As this would have been a VERY EXPENSIVE learning experience. In closing for now THANKS a MILLION Best Regards Jim W.

If you want my advice, keeping your PC virus free is basically common sense. Don't download from 3rd rate websites, and as you did always scan an .exe before running it. Also, http://virustotal.com is a great resource, scans said .exe through 32 different AV's, so in case one doesn't catch it, maybe one of the others will. Just a bit of advice.

I like Roboform (free) and it works well with Windows 7 both 32 and 64 bit.
