VHD Partition Not Recognized

I use the following steps to install Win 8.1 on a VHD:

After I create and attach the VHD successfully, I select the newly created partition as per following link:

However, when I click 'Next', the partition is not recognized.

"Windows cannot be installed to this disk. This computer's hardware may not support booting to this disk. Ensure that the disk's controller is enabled in the computer's BIOS menu."

I appreciate your advice.

I have a Dell Latitude XT tablet PC with Win 8 Pro + WMC.

Thanks. I was getting the error despite the warning message.

I will configure the boot entry and try again.
