On Windows XP, when I would remote in from home to my work pc, all the windows and apps I had running would still be up and running. Since upgrading to Windows 7, that is not the case. When I remote in, it's like I just signed in new. Once I get everything up and running, if I disconnect and reconnect, everything is closed again. I used to just X out of the RDP session so all my stuff would stay up and running.
