Using Lync Desktop Client for IT Support - UAC Prompts
Is there a group policy setting that will enable me as the administrator to see the UAC Prompts when I am connected to a user via Microsoft Lync? What always happens is that it will pause the session, and then they get the prompt (but of course they don't
know the password so then I have to walk over to their computer, which defeats the purpose of using Lync)
I tried setting these two group policy settings as shown below, but it still does not work:
Policy
Setting
User Account Control: Allow UIAccess applications to prompt for elevation without using the secure desktop
Enabled
User Account Control: Switch to the secure desktop when prompting for elevation
Disabled

Hi,
Please change User Account Control: Behavior of the elevation prompt for standard users policy to Prompt for credentials.
