Using Kiosksp Browser

Hi,

I have assigned access to one user to use Kiosksp Browser. I do not know how to configured the start page. A web search has not turned up and instructions on use.

Thanks

Hi Configured,

"Kiosksp Browser"
Do you mean the Kioksp mode of the Internet Explorer ?

How did you configure this mode, here ?

If that is the situation ,we can set up the start up page from here .Then choose "options","Home pages Customize".

As an alternative choice ,we can make it with a .bat file .Save the following command as a .bat file and put the bat file into the user account startup folder (Login with that user and input "shell:startup" in the Windows Explorer address bar).
":: kill explorer
taskkill /f /im explorer.exe

:: Run IE
"C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe" -k address

:: Run explorer when kiosk mode is deactivated (by pressing alt+F4)
explorer.exe"

Here is a link for reference of this operation :

Hi,

Thank you for the reply. I work part time, reason for delay getting back to the forums. My predecessor had the Kiosk running Kiosksp Browser. I made it as far as the users start screen and can choose patron and it logs into the Kiosksp Browser start page. Their instructions say I can configure the start page by going into settings using Windows Key + l When I try this, nothing happens.

Hi Configured ,

" Kiosksp Browser "
Is it a third party browser ?
We are familiar with configuring the Internet Explorer just as I posted before .If it is possible ,you can have a try .
Considering it is a third party software ,it is recommended to look for help from the third party software forum .

Best regards
