Using IIS and DynDNS
I'm using IIS 7 in Windows 7 Pro and DynDNS to set up a web server. When I enter http:// <my web site>.dyndns.org I get the brauser message
"Internet Explorer could not connect to <my web site>.dyndns.org"
My DynDNS log also contains the message "Current IP address (192.168.1.72) is not public IP"

go to http://whatismyip.com and use THAT public address for the dyndns name
direction.
if you are testing this behind a router on the same network, you probably need
to forward Port 80 to the machine hosting IIS.

Install an application that detects the public IP address and updates your dyndns record. This way the IP address is updated if your public IP changes, which is usually the reason for using DynDns in the first place.
