Hi, I now understand about the junction points in windows 7. However, when I naviagte to I:\Users and try to open any of the Start Menus, even the one for my User id, none will open. Get popup no access. Thanks, Stuart

Did you try checking here: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu I am able to access the user start menu from that location.~Alex T.~ ~Windows Desktop Experience MVP~
