Users on work domain can't see shared Network?
I have quite a few Windows XP & 7 machines in our office. We use server 2008 and have 2 network drives that we connect to on a daily basis. However... when adding some of my XP machines to the domain and mapping the network they usually work fine. A week later... when they try to access the same two networks nothing happens? It will open to a blank screen. So... I try uninstall the drive and remap and it can't find the drives.. If I continue to keep trying and keep trying eventually it will find the drive and I can remap it. Does anyone have a similar situation or any idea what could be causing this? I know the computers are taken off the network when they go home, but when they reconnect the next day they should automatically reconfigure the connection to the drive?! These are HP 4510s laptops running Windows XP Professional 32 bit. I appreciate any and all feedback!

Juke- Thank you for your response. I may have figured out the issue. I feel like a total idiot, but I am using a "N' Wireless card and a "G" Wireless router. Can someone give me some insight as to weather or not I can make the G compatible with N cards, or would it be a better idea to just purchase an N card?

Hi, Usually, the "N" card can be backward compatible with the "G" Wireless router. You may change the channel or the encryption mode for a test.
