Users can still access c drive through command line
Hi, I've implemented a policy to hide and deny access to the C drive for users via GPO, which works fine. The issue I'm having is that users can still browse around, and copy and paste files into the C drive through command line. I assumed that they wouldn't have permissions to do this with the GPO. Is there any way to stop the user from doing this? Thanks, Rohan

You must disable access to the cmd prompt for the users, to circumvent this access method. In the cmd prompt window most restrictions don't work. If your Windows installation is on drive c: you can't fully disable access to the whole drive for a user without seriously disturbing OS functionality. Otherwise you could put a full access denial at the roout of C: and propagate that down to all subfolders for these users. Then nothing will work for them on c:.Wolfgang

Hmm..I'll try disabling the cmd prompt for all users via GPO. Thanks a lot for your help =) Rohan
