I have had Vista Home Premium for 3 weeks and everythings works fine. Today I added other users and when they login some of the icons are not functionable. The standard icons from microsoft eg contol panel, computer, recycle bin, work but any added programs do not such as Office xp, mozilla etc. Every icon on my desk top works. these other users are set up as administrators. Any help?

Hi What do you mean by it doesn't work? You try to click on the them and you get an access denied or you click on them and nothing happens?

When I click the icon it will not do anything. like it was not even clicked. the icon is a generic image. If I right click the icon and go to properties it indicates the correct location of the exe file. But if I click open in the properties menu. nothing happens. As I said if the icons were placed on the desk top by the vista program like ie, or recycle bin or contol panel or computer and I click the icons those will work. any program icons I added after installing vista will not work on the new users I created.
