I have just found this site and am hoping that someone can help. I have XP SPII and only recently I have had problems loading windows. I get the scrolling bar and then the screen goes black. However, just by chance, I pressed Ctrl, Alt, delete a couple of times and then I got the small windows log on window and I can get in this way but I am afraid that it will give up completely.The computer was put together by a local company who say it could be a hard drive problem (this is 1 yr old with a 5yr guarantee!!) and of course they will look at it for a fee.Any help appreciated.
