User has to place call on hold then take the call off hold to hear the caller.

Here's an odd one we're toying with.

I have a user or two that have to place incoming calls on hold, then take them OFF hold in order to hear the caller.

We're checking on device drivers, but haven't found anything definitive to solve the problem.

I don't think it is a real client problem. Please check you network configuration and firewall of the Edge server. Most of this problems are network/firewall related.

Hi,

Did the issue still happen if the issued user change to another computer and login Lync client with his Lync account?

Did the issue only happen for Lync call or also happen for PSTN call?

As the issue only happen for one or two users, if the issue only happen for these computer, please also run Clean Boot to avoid third party programs affect:

Thanks for the reply.  Clean boots as well as Lync to Lync calls and Incoming calls from the outside.  This problem has happened when the users is coming in via VPN as well as on the premises.  I'll check out the link you provided.
