User authentication issues with Windows 7 machines in Cross Forest Trusted environment
We have two forests, one of which is a resource forest, with one-way trust from the resource forest (Forest B) to the main forest (Forest A). We have no problems using Windows XP desktops in Forest B to login to user accounts in Forest A. When we add Windows 7 or Vista desktop systems in Forest B, the users in Forest A cannot use these machines in Forest B to login to their domain in Forest A. The error message we get is "The security database on the server does not have a computer account for this workstation trust relationship". This error only occurs with Windows 7 and Vista systems. We would appreciate any help in resolving this problem. Thanks.
