Old laptop mother board crashed. I removed the HD (XP) to a USB external box. I'm now trying to transfer my old files to the new laptop (Win 7). User security is not allowing me to access certain files on the old HD. I can't get into control panel. Is there a way of "turning off" the security on the old HD so I don't have to change the user/owner settings on every single file? 1 person needs an answerI do too
