User Profile Folders not Deleting
Hi, We use redirected folders and roaming profiles in Windows 7. I have set up Group Policy so that when users log off a PC their profile folder is removed from the c:\users\ directory. This used to work fine in XP however since moving to Windows 7 the folders are not always removed upon logoff. Now if a user logs on a second time they get another folder created with the domain name appended, i.e. c:\users\matt c:\users\matt.contorso c:\users\matt1.contorso c:\users\matt2.contorso Within all the local profile folders that aren't deleted is the following folder\file path: c:\Users\mattc\AppData\Local\Microsoft\InputPersonalization\TextHarvester\TextHarvester.dat Does anyone have any ideas on how I can remedy this? Many thanks, Matt Matt Courtman, Network Manager, Cromwell Community College, UK

Hi, Based on my research, TextHarvester.dat is a Tablet PC Input related file. Do you use Tablet PC Input on your computer? If you don’t use that you may try to stop and disable Tablet PC Input Service. Hope that helps Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question.
