User Log-In Problem
Laptop was purchased 1 yr ago with windows xp already loaded in. when xp starts up is asking for a user id....user id shows as user. in the past i just typed in user again in the password section and it went through. Now it won't accept that, I get message that password is incorrect. how do i get around this? This just happened yesterday out of the blue, and it is so frustrating because i can't get in! To my knowledge I didn't change or do anything to cause this. Any help is appreciated1 person needs an answerI do too

Start the computer in Safe mode and log into the built-in account named Administrator . You'll have to know the password, if any, for that account. Once in, go to Control Panel > User Accounts and change the password for your regular account.Boulder Computer MavenMicrosoft Most Valuable Professional
