User Complaining She Can't Unlock Her Machine When Not Connected to The Domain
Hello, I have a user who just got a new laptop. She is telling me when connected to her home network she can not unlock her computer. When in the office it lets her unlock the machine. She says if locked she can shut down the machine and it let her log in fresh but as soon as the machine is locked it once again cannot be unlocked. Any Ideas? I have tried to un join and rejoin the computer to the domain and that did not work.

Have you checked the Group Policy setting "Interactive Logon: Require Domain Controller authentication to unlock workstation"? It sounds like this could be causing the issue. The policy setting can be found under: Computer Configuration - Policies - Windows Settings - Security Options. This could be defined in a domain policy or it could be defined by a local policy, an RSOP report would tell you where. Cheers
