User's administrator rights
I have problems with granting "full" administrator rights to a user. My user is in the Administrators group, AUC is set to "Never notify", he has full persmission (also owner) on specific folder, but when I try to delete this folder, I receive msg: Folder Access Denied. You need permission to perform this action. Etc. I am running Windows 7 RC x64 version. What could be the solution for this problem? BR, Uro

Is this folder in use by some process? It could be a command prompt open in the folder you are trying to delete or AntiVirus.Did you try to delete the folder from the command prompt?Permissions don't seem to be the problem in your case. Ray

Folder or files are not used by some process. I tried to delete files in CMD, but I got msg Access is denied. I started CMD as Administrator. Very strange thing is, that "my user" created this files, but cannot delete them :(.

What response do you get when you run icacls against the folder from the Command Prompt? If everything else fails you can always boot from the Windows 7 Install DVD, choose repair, open a Command Prompt and do it from there. This is a last resort and gives no clue why you are unable to remove the folder from within Windows.Ray

I managed to delete the folder with very strange action. I shared folder and add my user to have full rights. Afterwards I was able to delete it in explorer.

I agree that the solution is not exactly what I expected, but I am happy to hear that you solved the issue.Ray
