Hi guys, I've recently come across a problem on my laptop. I've got an external harddisk it plugs in fine and detects and runs perfectly, its when i try to eject it the problem occurs, when I click on the icon to "safely remove hardare and eject media", it doesn't display any usb disks there it just has a "...". So i can't safely remove my disk unless i turn off the computer. any ideas?

Try to update your usb drivers and external hdd drivers as well.
