Urgently need help with XP multiple monitor issue . . .
Our company recently migrated to a new office and I got stuck with moving all the computer systems to the new office. To make a long story short, one of our employees utilizes four (4) monitors. After much difficulty, I finally got the monitors working as one horizontal screen with smooth scrolling from left to right. However, I have one MAJOR problem. One of the programs this employee uses disappears (flies off the right most screen) when maximized. I am able to bring it back by moving it to the right screen, but I can't figure out how to make this a permanent fix. ANYONE - your help would be appreciated. Is this a matter of swapping screens? It was rather difficult to get the screens arranged properly as it was not responding to the order I attempted. Anyway, these people are rare flowers and get bent out of shape if the program won't open onto the designated window. Is there a way to specify which window it can open on IF it can be remedied permanently? Many Thanks In Advance1 person needs an answerI do too

I'm sorry, I cannot help you my friend, I could tell you how to set up multiple monitors, but not anything of this caliber. However, I DO advise that you remove your OTHER post in the Desktop and personalization forum:http://social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/xpdesktop/thread/be13b99a-750c-440d-abeb-10e0ab66a7d8/While I may NOT be a moderator, I DO care about the other people who contribute to this forum and having two of the same posts on different threads can make it more difficult than it needs to be. I assure you that a moderator will be by shortly to tell you the same thing.Young and Learning... Have Mercy

Depends what software/driver is being used to create / manage the multi monitor configeration, if using Nvidea / ATi / Matrox multiple display drivers theres usually an option on their multimonitor utility. If using the default win multimonitor set up I dont believe there is an option. The option, under win7, for Nvidea drivers is no longer available for some reason
