I upgraded 3 laptops from windows vista H P to windows 7 H P .One is giving problems and they are escalating, the other two are fine so far.The wireless went out, problems downloading updates,20 digit validation code not thier, seems likeprogram is fighting back, believing counterfit upgrade, microsoft working hard to remedy,I have information they need to remedy,I am thinking combination of disc and internet connection forupgradeing is culprit. Corrupted something.Hope this is rare event.

Hi, This issue may occur if wireless card driver is not installed. I suggest updating network card driver and BIOS first. If any error message is received, please let us now. If the issue persists, you can collect System Information and upload it to the http://skydrive.live.com/ using your Live ID and I will check it: System Information ============= 1. Click the Start Button, type "MSINFO32" in the Start Search box and press Enter to start the System Information. 2. On the popup window, on the menu bar, click "File", and click "Save", type a file name and then choose NFO as "Save as type", click Desktop on the left pane, and click Save. (If the Desktop option is not available, please click Browse Folder button first.) 3. Go to the Desktop, right-click on the exported file, choose "Send To" -> "Compressed (zipped) Folder". Upload this file and let me know the linkVivian Xing - MSFT

Vivian, I have a friend who has the same problem and was wondering if there is an email address that she can send you her NFO file. We have looked into every other possible solution that I can think of and that you have mentioned.

Hi all, The wireless connection issue is mostly caused by driver problem, I suggest updating the network card driver first. If the issue persists, you can upload the System Information to http://skydrive.live.com/ using your Live ID. To Andy.R, is there any update?Vivian Xing - MSFT

I'm having the same issue. Did this ever get resolved? I have an Airlink Wireless card that I updated the driver for and a Linksys WRT54G2 Router that I upgraded the firmware for. I was able to get online via wireless with Win XP just fine. Since I have upgraded to Win 7 I can only get online by directly connecting an ethernet line to the router. Please help!
