Upgrade from Win7 up to Win10 over Win8.1

Hello Everyone!

I'm confronted with a certain "defy" in the matter of upgrading my Win8.1 to Win10. The whole story to the topic of obtaining Win8.1:

Well, I bought a laptop with the built-in system of Win7. After a while I decided to upgrade to Win8.1 without having any product key for Windows. So I installed a Technical Preview of Win8.1 named Build 9600. In regular periods of time I get the notification about the necessity of activation my Windows, but, seen that I don't possess any Product Key, I'm not able to do that.

So now my question/request: Is there ANY possibility to obtain the Product Key for the activation of my Windows? I don't want to pay over 100EUR to get the program I already have, over and above that I paid for the Win7 buying my HP Laptop. What I need is the General Activation Product Key or, if it is possible, the remote controlled activation of my Win8.1, so I can upgrade to Win10.

Please help!

What you could do is backup all of your files and data and programs and then restore you computer back to factory setting when it runs Windows 7 and then install all updates and start restoring your files and reinstall your programs. When all updates has been installed, then you will see Upgrade to Windows 10 notification and you could perform upgrade.

Hi,

As mentioned by Cyber_Defend_Team, you need to revert back to Windows 7 with OEM license activated, then you could perform a free upgrade to Windows 10 by using Windows update or Windows 10 media creation tool.
